ok so I have been wanting to go vegan for about a year but I have tried vegetarian first and I have for aox months now and I lost 15lbs (I excersized as well) and i really want to go complete vegan but my parents think it won't be healthy because I'm also allergic to gluten (celiac disease) do u have any suggestions? I absolutely love your blog btw!! :*
Gluten is found mostly in wheat products. Avoid those and you should be good! Going vegan, you’ll still have PLENTY of options…oatmeal, rice, potatoes, legumes, veggies, fruits…and much, much more!
Also, my bf has Crohn’s disease which means he is allergic.to.gluten as well as dairy and he is a very healthy person. He just has to make sure he.gets enough good fats like using coconut oil for cooking to make sure he’s keeping a good amount of weight on (he bikes a lot). So, nutritionally you should be fine! :)
